American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position in Jefferson City, TN, requiring BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Med/Surg unit with 34 beds currently in use (56 total capacity)

Patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7
-
13-week contract
-
No on-call or call-back requirements
-
Floating is required
-
No block scheduling
-
EMR: Cerner experience utilized on unit

Royal blue scrubs required

Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact RN license recognized in TN

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required

Proficiency in comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, safe medication administration, care coordination, patient education, and critical problem solving

Valid driver's license required for consideration

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, care coordination, and patient education

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration; any approved time off must be made up at the end of the contract

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
