- Close their own deals
- Build a team beneath them
- Keep the majority of the profit they generate
What Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days
- Deploy a repeatable D2D & referral sales playbook
- Recruit, onboard, and coach 2–3+ experienced 1099 roofing reps
- Personally close $100K+ in roofing contracts
First 12 Months
- Build and manage a seven-figure roofing book of business
- Lead a self-sustaining team of 5+ producing reps
- Become the go-to roofing authority in your North Houston territory
Core Responsibilities
- Door-to-Door Prospecting: Lead from the front in neighborhoods, storm zones, retail canvassing, and referral-based selling
- Full-Cycle Roofing Sales: Inspections, measurements, estimates, contracts, and close-out
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and hold 1099 reps accountable to activity and production standards
- Insurance & Retail Sales: Confidently sell insurance restoration and retail roofing projects
- Proposal & Estimating: Use ARC’s tools (CRM, measurement software, estimating platforms) to present clean, professional scopes
- Negotiation & Margin Control: Protect profit while closing deals ethically and efficiently
- CRM Discipline: Track pipeline, forecasts, and KPIs accurately
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
✔ 5+ years of roofing sales experience
✔ Proven door-to-door (D2D) roofing sales background
✔ Experience closing insurance claims and/or retail roofing projects
✔ Track record of consistent personal production
✔ Comfortable recruiting and mentoring other reps
Ideal Background
- Former or current Roofing Sales Manager / Senior Sales Rep
- Storm restoration experience in Texas or similar markets
- Strong objection handling with homeowners and adjusters
- Self-managed, disciplined, and commission-driven
Compensation & Structure
- 60% NET Commission (no caps, no tiers, no clawbacks)
- Quarterly performance bonuses
- Marketing support: inbound leads, canvassing maps, door hangers
- Full tech stack provided (CRM, proposals, measurements)
- 1099 freedom – control your time and income
Realistic Year-1 Earnings:
$150,000–$250,000+
Top producers scale beyond this rapidly.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends as needed
