Must meet all of the mandatory trainings for assisted living: Fire & Life Safety, Infection Control, Basic Food Safety, Basic First Aid, Basic CPR and AED, Cognitive Impairment, Emergency Disaster, Medication Technician and any other trainings, as required. Must pass a background check and meet all of the personal health care requirements, i.e., vaccinations. Must have at least 1 year of experience and flexible to work all shifts.
Summary
As a Care Aide, you will provide essential support to individuals in long-term care, home and community settings, and personal care homes. Reporting to the Care Manager, your primary purpose is to enhance the quality of life for residents through compassionate caregiving. Utilizing core skills in personal care and caregiving, along with premium skills in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and memory care, you will ensure the well-being and dignity of those you serve. Your relevant skills in meal preparation and behavior management will further enrich the care experience in our supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support individuals with mobility challenges and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Uphold residents' rights and dignity while delivering care.
