Under general supervision of the Chief of Detention, a Detention Administrator Supervisor performs a wide variety of complex duties necessary to the incarceration, release of inmates, reconciliation of the Inmate Trust Accounts, and supervising the detention clerks. The Detention Administrator Supervisor is well-versed in calculating jail time, cost of incarceration, reading and understanding court documents, supervising detention clerks, as well as communicating with courthouse staff and outside agencies to facilitate accurate and efficient booking and releasing of inmates and gathering data necessary to perform their daily job functions.
