<Job Overview>
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team. In this role, you'll help oversee daily operations, support staff training, and ensure our guests enjoy an outstanding dining experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, experienced in food service management, and ready to lead with enthusiasm and professionalism.
<Duties>
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and customer service standards.
- Support staff training and development to ensure high-quality food handling, service, and safety practices.
- Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality across all menu items.
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams to promote teamwork and efficiency during busy hours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, food handling, and sanitation.
<Experience>
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Experience in staff training, interviewing potential team members, and developing team skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
