We are looking for a skilled gym equipment mechanic to repair, maintain and reupholster gym equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, mechanical systems and upholstery install. They must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
We service multiple gyms in Northern California. Gym locations will vary week to week. Travel time and gas included.
MUST LIVE WITHIN A 25 Mile Radius of San Jose
OR LIVE WITHIN A 25 mile Radius of Dublin
Must have:
- Your own set of basic mechanic tools (Ex. Drill set, socket set, digital meter, etc.)
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Repair electrical, electronic and mechanical issues
- Reupholster gym equipment pads
- Run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
- Perform maintenance on gym equipment
Skills
- Must have minimum 1 year of experience repairing gym equipment
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills
- A problem-solving ability
- Very good physical strength and stamina
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
