Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field required
- Current Minnesota school psychologist license (must be active and in good standing)
- Experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement individualized interventions for students with academic or behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student development and success
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team evaluations
- Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary and support positive school climate initiatives
- Provide counseling and consultative services to students and staff
- Maintain accurate case documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
