Position Summary: Responsible for the delivery of food and services to patients and customers. Follows all cooking assignments maintaining a sanitary and safe working area at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follows sanitation guidelines
- Follows recipes and preparation instructions
- Accurately and efficiently uses cooking equipment
- Knowledgeable of basic diet
- Properly portions all food and ingredients per department standards
- Prepares food to accurate consistency per diet requirements
- Preps food items for current use and next day
- Follows production sheets and records all related HACCP documentation
- Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
- Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
Required Qualifications:
Education and Training:
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
- Sanitation Certificate required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
