In this contract opportunity, you’ll step in to provide vital speech-language pathology services for a K-12 caseload during a maternity leave coverage period from 8/31/26 to 12/22/26. Located in the vibrant Pittsfield, MA area, this position is ideal for experienced, passionate SLPs dedicated to supporting student communication growth in a welcoming school setting. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Massachusetts
- Competency serving a diverse student population in grades K-12
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfort with IEP writing, progress reporting, and collaboration with educational teams
- Tech-savvy approach for candidates interested in the voco option
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services for students across K-12
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and write comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates as required
