Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst specializing in Retail Operations to join our team. Responsibilities
- Analyze retail sales data using advanced tools such as Power BI, and Excel to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and customer engagement.
- Utilize SQL and RetailQ to extract, manipulate, and interpret large datasets from various sources including CRM systems and sales management platforms.
- Collaborate with sales management teams to generate actionable insights through business intelligence reports that support strategic planning and forecasting.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and data interpretation to evaluate sales performance, customer behaviors, and operational efficiency.
- Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows and recommending data-driven enhancements for sales reporting systems.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly across departments through cross-functional collaboration and effective visualization techniques using Visio or similar tools.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst or similar role within a retail or sales environment.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization software such as Power BI, or equivalent dashboard development tools.
- Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis using Excel functions including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for database querying and data extraction purposes.
- Familiarity with RetailQ, CRM platform, or other sales management systems.
- Knowledge of business intelligence concepts including report generation, dashboard creation, and analytics best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on quantitative analysis, forecasting, and process improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication skills for presenting insights clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,481.17 per year
