We are seeking a skilled Legal Assistant for our small, but busy, law firm in Sacramento. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working in a professional office and will have the ability to prioritize and shift tasks easily as needed throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client files (digital and physical)
- Draft file opening documents
- Prepare and format letters, and organize documents
- Coordinate deadlines and track case-related timelines
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff
- Manage phone and email communication
Qualifications
- At least two years of professional office experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word and Outlook required; Excel a plus)
- High attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and client-focused attitude
The hours for this position are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Vacation, sick leave and a 401k plan are offered; health benefits are not provided.
