About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced commercial roofing crew — one Foreman and 9 to 11 skilled crew members — to join our team for ongoing low-slope and flat roofing projects. Our work consists primarily of commercial re-roofing and new construction across the region. We offer consistent workload, great pay, overtime and a professional job site environment.

Requirements — All Crew Members Must Meet
- Must be able to E-Verify — employment eligibility verification is required for all crew members
- Valid government-issued ID required at time of hire
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be able to work at heights and lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions; must be available to meet project schedules
- Willingness to follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols
Must be able to communicate effectively on the job site
Crew Composition
We are looking for a complete crew consisting of:
- 1 Working Foreman (see Foreman qualifications below)
- 9 to 11 experienced roofing crew members (journeymen, mechanics, and/or laborers)
Crews may be brought on as a unit or assembled through this posting. Please indicate in your application whether you are applying as a full crew, a partial crew, or an individual.
Foreman Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Proven ability to manage daily crew operations, read and interpret commercial roofing plans and specifications
- Experience coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors
- Ability to enforce safety standards
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Working knowledge of roofing equipment including, hot air welders, lifts, and safety gear
- Strong communication skills with both crew members and management
Technical Skills — Required
All crew members must have demonstrated hands-on experience with the following:
- TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) single-ply roofing systems — mechanically attached, fully adhered, and/or ballasted
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) single-ply roofing systems — heat-welded seams, flashing details, and penetration work
- Proper use of hot air welding equipment (Leister, Miller Weld-Master, or similar)
- Membrane installation over ISO board and cover boards
- Proper flashing, termination bar, and edge metal installation
- Drain sumps, scupper boxes, curb flashing, and penetration sealing
- Substrate prep, insulation fastening patterns, and deck attachment per manufacturers' specs
Preferred / Bonus Skills
The following are a strong plus and may increase compensation:
- Modified bitumen (SBS and/or APP) — torch-applied, hot-mopped, or cold-applied
- Commercial roof coatings — silicone, acrylic, polyurethane, or elastomeric systems
- Built-up roofing (BUR) systems
- EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) systems
- Metal roofing panels and metal edge systems
- Roof deck repair — wood, steel, or concrete substrate
- Experience with manufacturer-certified roofing systems (GAF, Carlisle, Firestone, Versico, Soprema, or similar)
- Aerial lift or scissor lift operator certification (MEWP)
- First Aid / CPR certification
