Position Overview
The Gallery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating gallery events, overseeing paint nights and creative experiences, managing guest interactions, supporting marketing efforts, and maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the gallery. This role requires someone who is professional, organized, outgoing, and comfortable working with individuals and groups of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage gallery events, workshops, exhibitions, rentals, and special programs.
- Facilitate paint nights and other gallery-hosted experiences.
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Manage event setup and breakdown.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gallery environment.
- Promote gallery events through social media, community outreach, and other marketing efforts.
- Assist with event registrations, bookings, and inquiries.
- Support the sale of artwork, merchandise, and event tickets.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs.
- Represent The Gallery by Artfully Phi in a positive and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, adults, and diverse populations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable leading groups and engaging with the public.
- Basic knowledge of social media and marketing.
- Reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to assist with event setup and light lifting.
- Must be available evenings and weekends.
