The Palmetto School of Early Education is preparing to open our new Indian Trail location, and we're looking for exceptional Early Childhood Teachers to help us build something special from the very beginning. We are planning to open by early Fall.

What You'll Do
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll create a safe, loving, engaging classroom where children can explore, build confidence, develop friendships, and grow.
You'll:
- Provide age-appropriate learning and play experiences
- Implement curriculum and engaging daily activities
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain active and appropriate supervision
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom
- Complete required classroom documentation
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership
- Follow North Carolina child care, health, safety, and sanitation requirements
- Participate in training and professional development
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are dependable, patient, positive, professional, and genuinely love working with children.
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to successfully complete the required NC Child Care Criminal Background Check
- Meet applicable North Carolina DCDEE requirements for the position
- Complete required orientation, health and safety training
- Obtain and maintain required CPR and First Aid certification
- Complete required annual professional development
- Be able to perform the essential functions of an early childhood classroom
Prior childcare experience and Early Childhood Education credentials are highly valued, but we're also interested in meeting motivated candidates who want to grow in the field.
