MVA Services is seeking an experienced Recruiter to help us aggressively grow our field service team. We provide specialized electrical and transformer services throughout the United States and need a recruiter who can consistently identify and hire qualified technical personnel.
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruit experienced transformer technicians, electrical testing technicians, field service technicians, and other skilled electrical personnel
- Proactively source candidates rather than relying solely on job postings
- Use LinkedIn, Indeed, trade networks, referrals, and direct outreach to find qualified candidates
- Screen candidates for technical experience, travel availability, safety background, and overall fit
- Maintain an active pipeline of candidates for current and future openings
- Coordinate interviews with MVA management
- Assist with recruiting campaigns, job postings, and employee referral programs
- Track recruiting activity, candidates, interviews, offers, and hires
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in electrical, industrial, construction, utility, or skilled trades
- Proven ability to recruit difficult-to-find technical personnel
- Strong sourcing and direct candidate outreach skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience recruiting candidates who travel nationally is strongly preferred
