Cultivation Floater Supervisor
River Bend Wellness Consulting is recruiting for a Cultivation Floater Supervisor to provide daily leadership coverage across cultivation areas at a commercial cannabis farm in Camarillo, California.
This is a full time, in person role for an adaptable cultivation leader who can move between assigned teams or work areas, quickly understand priorities, organize daily crop work, guide employees, and maintain consistent quality, safety, and communication standards.
What You Will Do
- Provide supervisory coverage across assigned cultivation areas as business needs change.
- Review daily priorities, staffing coverage, work status, crop conditions, materials, and operating issues when entering an assigned area.
- Lead employees through clear work assignments, task demonstrations, coaching, accountability, and follow up.
- Monitor plant health, crop uniformity, work quality, sanitation, worker hygiene, and completion of scheduled work.
- Inspect plant handling, canopy work, crop maintenance, irrigation support, sanitation, room preparation, and harvest readiness.
- Maintain clear communication and continuity when supporting teams during leadership gaps or changing operational priorities.
- Verify plant counts, labels, movement records, work records, labor information, and production documentation.
- Identify plant health, irrigation, pest, disease, environmental, quality, safety, labor, and workflow concerns and communicate them promptly.
- Work closely with cultivation leadership, growing, plant health, quality, compliance, maintenance, and human resources teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Direct commercial cannabis cultivation experience or comparable large scale greenhouse production experience.
- Experience leading cultivation or agricultural crews, assigning work, training employees, monitoring results, and supporting accountability.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis plant care, crop work, sanitation, quality standards, production flow, and safe greenhouse practices.
- Ability to move between work areas, learn current priorities quickly, and give employees clear direction.
- Strong organization, reliability, professional communication, sound judgment, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Experience using cultivation tracking, labor reporting, inventory, scheduling, greenhouse control, compliance, or production systems.
- Ability to reliably report to the Camarillo Farm for every assigned shift.
- Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Experience
- Supervisory experience across multiple cultivation stages or greenhouse production areas.
- Experience supporting labor planning, environmental monitoring, irrigation, fertigation, plant health, pest management, and harvest readiness.
- Professional communication in English. Spanish language ability is a plus.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
