The Role:
We are looking for a part-time Retail Associate who takes pride in great service, isn't afraid of physical work, and genuinely enjoys talking with people. This is a small-team environment where you'll have real responsibility from day one—not just running a register, but serving as the face of the store. You will be responsible for maintaining a spotless environment, ensuring our systems run smoothly, and providing a top-tier experience for every customer.
If Monday/Tuesday/Friday, 2p-6:30p, and Sat 1-5:30 work for you, we want you to apply! Additional performance and metric-based incentives available. Additional hours are likely as we grow.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Customer Experience: Greeting guests, answering questions about our water filtration process, and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
- Operations & Light Maintenance: Managing point-of-sale (Square), keeping the store pristine, and performing basic troubleshooting or maintenance on our water systems. (If you have a knack for fixing things, this is your time to shine!). Handyman/plumbing experience will definitely get you noticed.
- Physical Tasks: Safely lifting and loading 5-gallon bottles (45 lbs) for customers, stocking ice, and receiving inventory.

Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Execute point of sale
- Fill, carry/lift, and load 5-gallon bottles filled with water (45 lbs. each) into customers' cars
- Stocking/bagging purified ice
- Maintain cleanliness of front of house, employee areas, and stockroom
- Stocking shelves/racks
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager/Owner
- Occasionally break down wooden pallets
- Receive inventory
- Other duties as needed
Skills and Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Customer Service Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Consistent professionalism
- Neat and clean appearance
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Familiarity with POS, especially Square
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Ability to occasionally work alone
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
Base Pay: From $17.13 per hour
