Position Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Intern (2 positions)
Location: Multiple Locations
Reports To: Special Education Program Supervisor/Regional Director
Salary/Benefits: $125 per day – no benefits.
Available: Immediately. Full-time, school year position.
Schedule: Hours and schedule determined at time of employment; up to 5 days per week
Work schedule based on district calendar.
FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist Intern assists in providing services to and on behalf of
students who require speech evaluation.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

to perform the essential functions.
Essential Duties:
• The intern will assist in screening and evaluating students to identify communication supports.
- The intern will work with classroom teams to implement universal supports and individualized
interventions for addressing student communication delays.
- The intern may provide specific language therapy as required.
- The intern may establish and supervise a comprehensive language program.
- The intern should administer pre-and post-therapy measures, whenever possible.
- The intern should maintain accurate speech and language records and reports as required.
- The intern will work cooperatively as a member of the IEP team.
- The intern will take an active role in both the intake process and staffing procedures.
- The intern will be an active member of MTSS teams.
