Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, maintain cleanliness, and support kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Support kitchen staff in various tasks
- Wash, peel, and chop ingredients as needed
- Handle and store food items following food safety guidelines
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision
Skills:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus
- Basic knowledge of culinary practices and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
- Interest in the food industry and willingness to grow within the role
