About the Role
Spinks Technologies, Inc. is a cloud engineering, AI automation, and cybersecurity solutions provider serving government, healthcare, and enterprise clients, headquartered in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Our team designs and operates AWS-native security architectures, AI-augmented monitoring, and compliance programs for clients operating in regulated environments. We are building our cybersecurity delivery team in support of a pending managed cybersecurity services engagement for a hospital system in the Caribbean, protecting clinical and administrative systems across a hybrid on-premises, private cloud, and Microsoft 365 environment. As a Vulnerability Management Analyst, you will own the continuous scanning, risk-based prioritization, and remediation-tracking process across cloud and on-premises environments, working closely with our AI-driven prioritization tooling and client IT teams to close vulnerabilities before they become incidents.
What You'll Do
- Manage continuous vulnerability scanning across cloud (AWS Inspector) and on-premises/network assets
- Review and validate AI-generated, risk-ranked vulnerability remediation queues (CVSS + exploitability + asset criticality)
- Coordinate patch management windows and track patch compliance reporting with client IT stakeholders
- Produce vulnerability and patch compliance reports for monthly client reporting
- Partner with SOC and Incident Response teams on vulnerabilities tied to active threats
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- 2-4+ years of experience in vulnerability management, patch management, or security operations
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, AWS Inspector, or similar)
- Understanding of CVSS scoring and risk-based prioritization methodology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager or equivalent patch orchestration tooling
- Experience supporting healthcare, government, or other regulated/compliance-driven environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/vulnerability-tracking platforms
Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
