Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team with passion and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily hotel operations, ensure outstanding guest experiences, and drive business growth through effective management and leadership. Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, optimize occupancy rates, and control costs through effective budgeting and revenue management.
- Supervise staff across departments, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team environment.
- Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Maintain high standards of guest relations by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage hotel facilities to uphold safety and brand standards, cleanliness, and overall guest comfort in accordance with brand policies.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to handle reservations, inquiries, and internal communications efficiently.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in hospitality or hotel management roles at branded hotels like Marriott, Hilton, IHG.
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality operations including front desk management, guest services, and resort amenities.
- Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and financial analysis within a hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and staff.
- Familiarity with human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations.
