Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice to join our team in the electrical industry. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience while working alongside skilled professionals. The Apprentice will assist in various electrical tasks, learn essential skills, and contribute to projects on construction sites.
Duties
- Assist experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support low voltage installations and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Conduct basic measurements using voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience or coursework related to commercial or industrial electrical work is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic electrical concepts is advantageous.
- A willingness to learn about blueprint reading, NEC regulations, low voltage systems, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned tasks efficiently.
