Overview: ****Pay is based on experience.
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diesel engine repair, fleet maintenance, and industrial equipment.
Duties:
- Perform all diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on fleet
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements
- Service and repair: tractors, trailers, low boys, super dumps, end dumps and various types of equipment
- Welding tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on diesel engine repair with 2+ years and trade school certificate
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
- Ability to work on diesel vehicles and equipment
- Familiarity with brake systems, cooling systems, and transmission systems
Physical Requirements
- You will be required to move frequently, stand, and walk around the yard in the hot sun. There is very little shade other than the shop. You must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and occassionally liftt and / or move 60+ lbs.
