Edinboro Counseling and Psychological Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide outpatient mental health services to children and adolescents within the school setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing accessible, high-quality behavioral health services while collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to support student success.
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments to identify client strengths and treatment needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and client goals.
- Provide evidence-based individual counseling and therapeutic interventions in the school setting.
- Collaborate with parents, school personnel, physicians, and other providers to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Encourage and empower clients to actively participate in treatment and goal development.
- Provide services in school and, when clinically appropriate, in the office setting.
- Promote healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, social skills, and positive peer and family relationships.
- Complete accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and required reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and supervision as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical, agency, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or another related behavioral health field.
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as an LPC or LCSW (or license eligible, if applicable).
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families is preferred.
- Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental or behavioral health needs is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, and families.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation and caseload requirements.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Current Pennsylvania Mandated Reporter Training Certification.
- Current Pennsylvania required clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, and Criminal Background Check).
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.
