SpineSearch is working with an established neuro-spine practice based in Queens. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP or PA who is interested in an outpatient neuro spine practice and working closely with an experienced surgeon. The provider will see patients alongside the surgeon as well as independently, providing comprehensive office-based care throughout the patient’s surgical journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and clinical workups
- See patients alongside the Neuro Spine Surgeon as well as independently
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and counseling
- Provide post-operative follow-up and ongoing patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
- Assess and triage patient concerns
- Coordinate appropriate imaging, referrals, and follow-up care
- Assist with the overall management of patients within the neuro spine practice
- Collaborate closely with the surgeon and multidisciplinary healthcare team
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Five-day work week
- No weekends
- Primarily office-based outpatient care
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active New York State license
- Experience in neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, or a related specialty preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a physician
- EPIC experience
- Spanish-speaking
