Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC/R equipment, and electrical components to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, mechanical systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and other equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including motors, pumps, compressors, and air conditioning units to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance management systems (MRO).
- Support construction or renovation projects by assisting with equipment installation and system upgrades as needed.
Skills
- Extensive experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems repair.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proven ability to perform appliance installation and conduct maintenance on various mechanical equipment.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems including air conditioning and ventilation solutions.
- Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, motors, compressors, air conditioning units, and other mechanical components.
- Construction experience is a plus for supporting facility upgrades or new installations.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or contractors during projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
