Position Summary
SonicAire is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Technician who currently holds a North Carolina Limited Electrical License and is eligible to pursue their NC Unlimited Electrical License within 6 months.
This role supports industrial turnkey installation projects involving electrical and mechanical systems across customer sites throughout the United States. Candidates should have strong NEC knowledge, industrial installation experience, and a desire to grow into higher levels of electrical leadership and licensing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical and mechanical installations
- Collaborate with project team members
- Interpret schematics and ensure compliance
- Support planning and execution
- Maintain safety compliance
Qualifications and Job Competences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active North Carolina Limited Electrical License
- Ability to qualify and sit for NC Unlimited Electrical License within 6 months
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience with industrial or commercial electrical installations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Willingness to travel up to 50%-75%
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Experience with motor controls, VFDs, or industrial automation
- Mechanical installation experience
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience leading small installation crews
