Position Summary:
Columbus Hilliard Hotel is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas while ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room supplies.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Clean hallways, elevators, lobby areas, and other public spaces as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
- Properly handle lost and found items.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow hotel safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
- Respond professionally to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within required timeframes.
- Assist team members and support hotel operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Weekend and holiday availability required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25–35 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
