JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a Dishwasher to support efficient kitchen operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. This role ensures all dishes, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas are properly cleaned, stored, and readily available while upholding hygiene standards and assisting with overall kitchen readiness and safety.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, pots/pans, glassware and all kitchen areas.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate China)
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (detergents) and place orders when necessary
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
- Performs other appropriate duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred
- Able to effectively communicate with others
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Positive attitude
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 – 80 pounds
- Continuous repetitive motions
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment
ABOUT THE OFFER:
- This is a seasonal full-time non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $20.00 – $22.00
- This position requires a flexible schedule for working evenings, weekends, and holidays as determined by business needs
