Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate response to customer's orders by providing the required information, schedules, materials and accurate systems to the manufacturing unit
- Work closely with the Materials Manager and Manufacturing Manager to develop production plans and forecasts
- Review sales forecasts and adjust when release information
- Maintain accurate and detailed records concerning customer interactions and information
- Confer with requesting parties when specific sources are requested
- Evaluate areas for improvement concerning materials, suppliers, and processes
- Investigate and solve issues resulting from material shortages
- Report any safety issues immediately
- Other duties and secondary functions as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite
- Previous experience in manufacturing is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
