Job Title: DIVISION OF LIBERAL ARTS - Instructor/Assistant Professor of Music
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: Hiring Range - $43,907 - $52,688
Position Details: 9-month; full-time

Position Description: The Division of Liberal Arts at Mayville State University is seeking applicants for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Music.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching of essential studies music course

Directing concert choir and band
-
Teaching classes related to the music minor

Working with the Fine Arts series
Required Competencies:

Demonstrated public speaking abilities

Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, oral and written

Grading preparation

Presentation of materials

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and be self-motivated
Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Music or 18 hours of graduate credit in the discipline.

Some experience in both instrumental and choral areas

Experience working on a variety of fundraising activities
Preferred Qualifications:

PhD in Music

Teaching experience at the university level of both instrumental and choral areas
