Job Description
Morgan Transfer is seeking an experienced, safety-minded Class A Logistics & Port Driver to handle container and freight transportation to and from local ports and regional logistics hubs. This is NOT a drive only position. Must have the ability to lift 50+.

Key Responsibilities
- Port & Intermodal Transport: Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport, deliver, and pick up containerized freight from commercial ports, rail yards, and logistics hubs. Ability to lift 50+ - this is NOT a drive only position.
- Secure Access Compliance: Navigate port terminals efficiently, adhering to all maritime security regulations and port-specific safety protocols.
- Vehicle Care: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring safety compliance for both the tractor and the intermodal equipment.
Requirements
- TWIC Card Required: Must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) at the time of application.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) held for at least 2 consecutive years.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Prior experience hauling containers or operating in port environments is highly preferred.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment DOT drug screening (zero-tolerance policy).
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
