Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of meals to guests while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism to enhance guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal preparation and service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and meal preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
