Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process sales, and handle cash or credit payments with precision
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, organized service station and uphold sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
Experience
- Prior restaurant experience in a fast-paced or fine dining environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales transactions processing
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry best practices
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Experience in food handling, sanitation procedures, and basic math for accurate check processing and cash handling
- Previous roles involving serving, bussing, host/hostess duties or food industry experience are advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy service hours
