Overview
Controls Systems Designer provides technical skills in the layout, design, display, functionality, and submissions of electric, electronic, and direct digital controls associated with HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
Required Qualifications
· Ability to read and understand electrical schematic wiring diagrams.
· Responsible for assisting in developing system layouts and linking points to graphical representations of mechanical and electrical systems.
· Able to work extended or flexible hours/shifts as required
· Coordination and compilation of building controls submittals as directed by the engineering department manager.
· Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
· Being Familiar with Building Automation System(s) hardware/software
· Computer skills
· Ability to read and understand technical documents, schematic design specification
· Knowledge and familiarity with CAD programs. (AutoCad, Visio)
· Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Ensure that systems are automatically operating within specified parameters
· Ability to test and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, humidity, static pressure, amps)
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
