Key Responsibilities
Diagnostics
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hybrid, and drivability concerns using Toyota diagnostic equipment and software.
Repairs
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, electrical systems, and hybrid components.
Maintenance
- Complete routine maintenance services, multi-point inspections, and vehicle reconditioning to Toyota standards.
Communication
- Partner with Service Advisors to provide accurate estimates, document findings, and communicate repair recommendations clearly.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all dealership, Toyota, OSHA, and environmental safety guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional automotive technician experience preferred.
Certifications
- ASE certifications preferred.
- Toyota factory certifications are highly desirable.
Tools
- Must own standard automotive hand tools and equipment required for daily technician duties.
License
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Technical Ability
- Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Experience with hybrid and advanced vehicle technology is a plus.
Screening
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
