Central Eyes Optometry provides vision and medical eye care. We are proud to be a 5 star clinic that offers excellent service and care to our patients. We are looking for motivated teammates to help our optometry clinic continue to grow as we serve the people of Grants Pass and Josephine County. We are a small, privately owned optometry clinic with a boutique optical.
You don't need any eye care experience, but must absolutely love working with people and be genuinely positive and enthusiastic. Strong computer and typing skills are required. Must be able to efficiently type and document information while actively listening and communicating with patients. We will train the necessary eye care skills.
We are looking for a warm, engaging and friendly person. You must be willing to work in a professional environment, love to learn, have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and love working as a team player.
Our office hours: Monday - Thursday 9-6, and Friday 9-2
We offer great work environment and an opportunity to learn with room for growth. Starting at $16/hour depending on experience.
Certification is not required at the time of hire but must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
Common Job Duties:
Pre-testing patients before they see the doctor
Using different equipment to gather data
Computer work, including documentation of findings in Electronic Health Record
Scheduling appointments
Cleaning exam rooms in between patients
Training patients how to insert, remove and care for contact lenses.

Preferred, but not required:
Previous work in reception or customer service.
