Job Overview:
As an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and keep systems running efficiently to ensure customers stay comfortable and confident in our service.

What You’ll Do:
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems for residential and light commercial clients.
- Diagnose and repair issues with refrigeration systems (ice machines, coolers, walk-ins, etc.).
- Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and extend system life.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot effectively.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments on complex service projects.
- Use tools such as gauges, ohmmeters, and welding equipment when required.
- Communicate clearly with customers about their system performance and recommended services.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and job details in company software.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) Service Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial or residential refrigeration systems.
- EPA certification (Type I & II or Universal).
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
