Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our manufacturing environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all maintenance activities, implement safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. As a key leader, you will coordinate maintenance projects and uphold compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage facilities maintenance, responsible for mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance tasks.
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance activities in accordance with production needs and safety regulations.
- Oversee the inspection and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other troubleshooting tools.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and safety procedures during all maintenance operations.
- Manage maintenance repair procedures using Maintenance Management Systems tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance history.
- Lead project management efforts for facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources and timelines effectively.
- Train and develop team members on proper maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and technical skills related to HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), plumbing systems, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, safety compliance reports, and schematics review.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues involving industrial manufacturing equipment or mechanical systems.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the facilities management team.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience leading facilities or maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring; proficiency with ohmmeters and schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance using CMMS software; strong project management skills are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and ability to enforce safety standards effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear team leadership and documentation purposes.
- Supervising experience in managing large teams while ensuring adherence to safety protocols is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting documents.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team management, training, and development in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
