Lakeshore Primary Care Associates is a large family practice looking for full-time Medical Assistants to work at our Hamburg office to support our Doctors, PAs, and NPs in providing excellent patient care.
Medical assistant duties include, but are not limited to:
- Room patients by confirming medical history, the specific purpose of the visit and taking vitals.
- Perform point of care testing, in office tests (ex. EKGs and spirometries) and collect lab specimens.
- Complete prior authorizations for medications.
- Ensure that exam rooms are clean and stocked with clinical supplies.
- Assist with the completion of required forms.
- Deliver excellent customer service to provide a positive patient experience.
- Uphold workplace safety, security, and health standards by strictly following all policies.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
The most successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, professional maturity, strong communication and organizational abilities, balanced with a proactive sense of urgency.
Our hours of operation require a variety of shifts, including one evening and/or Saturday per week. The pay range for this position is $18/hr. - $20/hr. depending on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance and other benefits.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
