Kindred Communication is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-to-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy in a home school program. We are building a different kind of practice: person-centered, trauma-informed, and built around one conviction, that while behavior is communication, communication is more than behavior. Every treatment plan starts with the person, not the protocol. Every session embeds functional communication, and many of our clients use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems such as speech-generating devices. You will not be handed a binder and left alone. You will be mentored.

What you will do
- Provide one-to-one behavior therapy sessions in home, implementing each client's individualized treatment plan with fidelity
- Embed functional communication and AAC throughout every session
- Collect accurate session data at the point of service using our electronic data collection system
- Communicate observations and changes to your supervising BCBA and participate actively in supervision and coaching
- Implement each client's crisis and safety plan using our restraint-free de-escalation approach
- Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and protect the confidentiality of every client served
Minimum qualifications
- Current RBT certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), including the 40-hour training, initial competency assessment, and certification exam
- School-based experience supporting students with disabilities, for example as a one-to-one aide, paraprofessional, instructional assistant, teacher's assistant, or teacher (experience in a high school setting preferred)
- Bachelor's degree required, and at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background screening and clearance
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Completion of crisis and safety training upon hire (provided and paid)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience providing ABA therapy, behavior intervention, or direct care to individuals with autism
- Experience supporting adolescents or young adults in a high school or transition-age setting
- Familiarity with AAC devices or communication-based intervention
- Coursework in psychology, education, child development, or a related field
- Pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification (supervised fieldwork opportunities available)

Sessions are delivered in client homes and community settings.
Days of Service: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 to 11:30 a.m.; Mondays, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Part-time.
