Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, increasing sales volume, and promoting Tri-State Metal Roofing Supply products and services within an assigned territory.

Conduct regular customer visits and jobsite visits

Prepare and present sales proposals and product presentations

Read and interpret blueprints and plans as needed

Assist customers with product selection and technical information

Collaborate with plant managers and inside sales staff to ensure customer satisfaction

Resolve customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner

Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes within CRM system

Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments

Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer functions as required

Maintain positive customer satisfaction and relations

Effectively manage territory, schedule, and travel

Maintain company vehicle and equipment in a safe and professional manner, if applicable

Continuously develop product knowledge and become an expert in the metal roofing industry

Minimum of two (2) years of B2B outside sales experience

Experience in the roofing and/or construction industry preferred

Ability to build relationships and close sales

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving abilities

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Willingness to learn and become an expert in the metal roofing industry
