Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Interaction:
- - Engage with customers in our showroom, understanding their needs and guiding them through flooring options.
- - Provide decorating and design advice to simplify the customers' buying decisions.
- - Write and process sales orders, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
Product Knowledge and Customer Service:
- - Stay current on our diverse range of flooring products, including features, benefits, and warranties.
- - Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns promptly.
- - Maintain a clean, organized, and up-to-date showroom with attractive samples and displays.
- -Client Relationship and Networking:
- - Build and nurture strong client relationships.
- - Network within the community to prospect new business opportunities.
- - Collaborate effectively with other store employees to execute targeted sales strategies.
- Administrative Duties:
- - Utilize our computer database for researching product availability and processing orders.
- - Handle payments and credit authorizations.
Personal Attributes:
- - Self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- - Detail-oriented and motivated by results.
- - Strong follow-up capabilities and commitment to outstanding customer service.
- - Ability to learn about flooring and relevant industry information.
Professional Skills:
- - Passion for, or experience in, decorating or design.
- - Retail sales experience is highly preferred.
- - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn our operating systems.
Additional Qualifications:
- - Some college education is preferred but not required.
- - Reliable transportation for commuting and visiting customers' homes as needed.
- - Flexible availability, including weekends

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
