Plainville Machine & Tool Company, Inc. is seeking a Manual Machinist/ Tool & Die Maker to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and maintain precision tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Perform precision machining using mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Qualifications
- Understanding of toolmaking principles, tolerances, and machining practices
- Ability to read complex blueprints and work independently with minimal supervision
- Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Experience
- Experience in a job-shop, tooling mold or die enviroment preferred
