American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and the ability to handle both pediatric cardiac and general OR cases.

Pediatric CVOR unit within a children's hospital setting

Patient population includes congenital heart cases and other pediatric cardiac surgeries
-
General OR patients are also part of the caseload in addition to pediatric cardiac cases
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
-
On-call required: 1–2 weekends per month, with additional call obligations of 72+ hours and 8 days per month (12–24 hrs/day) depending on scheduled shifts

Floating required to the main OR

Active CA RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS and PALS

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Pediatric CVOR experience strongly preferred

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Scrub, circulate, or assist in pediatric cardiovascular and general OR procedures as assigned

Candidate must be available for all assigned pediatric cardiac cases

Longer contracts beyond 13 weeks may be available for interested candidates
