We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Supervisor to oversee daily forklift operations and warehouse material handling activities. The ideal candidate must have hands-on forklift driving experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage inventory and support warehouse operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as needed
- Supervise and monitor forklift operators and warehouse staff during daily operations
- Ensure all forklift activities are performed safely and according to company procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when materials or supplies are running low
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with loading, unloading, storing, and moving materials within the warehouse
- Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to forklift operators
- Inspect forklifts and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Assist warehouse management with operational planning and reporting
- Train and guide forklift employees on proper procedures and safety standards
- Support all other warehouse and forklift-related supervisory duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous forklift operation experience required
- Prior warehouse or forklift supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Basic inventory and counting experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move materials when necessary
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday-Fridays 1-9pm
Work Environment
- Warehouse and industrial environment
- Standing, walking, lifting, and forklift operation required throughout shifts
Pay: $19.00 per hour
