Description of Medical Practice
We are a growing women’s primary care and gynecology practice with a beautiful office located in the prestigious Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. Our practice provides a supportive, patient-centered environment with a strong focus on delivering exceptional care.
Weekend call is 1 in 4 and very limited due to the age demographic of our patient population. There is no outside call or additional work such as nursing home duties, and no admitting responsibilities.
Our patient base is primarily professional women, with over 85% holding college degrees or higher and actively employed, and approximately 10% consisting of current college or graduate students. Our multidisciplinary team includes registered dietitians, PhD-level psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, aestheticians, medical assistants, front desk staff, and management. We value efficiency, continuous improvement, and a harmonious office culture.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant training program (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Current Pennsylvania NP or PA license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Experience in annual gynecologic exams and primary care required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Support the clinical practice with a focus on growth and community needs
- Coordinate and deliver professional medical services for patients requesting or accepting care
- Collect, document, and maintain patient information using health information technology
- Consult and communicate with physicians as needed
- Adhere to practice policies and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians to care for both well and sick patients
- Educate patients to promote wellness, prevent illness, and manage acute and chronic conditions
