Trimlight North Texas is looking for a motivated sales professional who wants more than an individual sales role. Our Sales Team Leader in Training opportunity provides a structured six-month path designed to develop a proven producer into someone capable of leading, coaching, and supporting a growing sales team.
You’ll start by learning our business and proving yourself in the field before gradually taking on more responsibility as a leader.
Your First 90 Days: Learn & Perform
Before you can lead the process, you need to know how to execute it.
- Learning Trimlight’s products, customers, and sales process
- Producing consistent results and setting the standard for the team
- Demonstrating reliability, accountability, and strong communication
- Building trust with other members of the sales team
- Developing the habits and skills required to become an effective leader
- Showing that you can take ownership without constant supervision
Successful performance during this stage opens the door to the leadership portion of the program.
Months 4–6: Step Into Leadership
Once you’ve established yourself as a strong producer, you’ll begin transitioning from individual performance into team leadership.
- Month 4: Shadow sales leadership and begin assisting with day-to-day team responsibilities
- Month 5: Take a more active role in coaching, accountability, and supporting team performance
- Month 6: Begin independently leading the team while continuing to receive guidance and support
The goal is to prepare you to move into a Sales Team Leader/Sales Manager position with the skills and experience to lead confidently.
