We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with at least 3-5 years of experience, a strong background in various carpentry techniques, and can work independently or as part of a team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures.
Duties:
General Install and Finish Carpentry
- Cabinet installation
- Countertop installation
- Trim and casing installation
- Door installation
Hand Demo for Int/Ext General Install Rough Carpentry
– Wall construction, framing, and insulation
– Roof framing
– Drywall installation, taping, painting
– Lumber and metal studs
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Perform fixture installation including cabinets, doors, and other wooden structures.
- Assemble components accurately while ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Hang doors and ensure they are plumb for proper functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with at least 3-5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical work related to fixture installation is a plus.
- Experience with demolition, rough carpentry, steel studs and drywall.
- Skills in tile laying and cabinet installation are beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
- A commitment to safety practices while working on construction sites.
- Must be able to perform, lift work, boom work, and roof work
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs with the ability to carry wood doors, frames, lumber
**Extra interest in candidates who also have concrete forming & finishing experience
- Perform concrete forming as needed for various projects
