Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items on the grill according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
- Monitor food quality during cooking processes to ensure optimal taste and presentation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Follow proper knife handling techniques for efficient food preparation.
- Participate in ongoing training related to culinary skills, food safety, and kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry necessary.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Culinary training or certification is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
